Excellence[edit]
Our One Rule is to Be Excellent to Each Other. (Give a quick, 1-3 sentence summary.)
Excellence means to be excellent to each other, it means to be excellent to the space and others, not sleeping here.
We have a wiki page on excellence
What does that mean? Please see our page on excellence https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Excellence!
Anti-Harassment Policy & Community Standards of Excellence[edit]
Noisebridge has an Anti-Harassment Policy https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Anti-Harassment_Policy Everyone is expected to follow the Anti-Harassment Policy, please familiarize yourself with it.) More approachable & specific guidelines, https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Community_Standards https://safespace.noisebridge.net/ is one way to quickly raise issues which will be seen by people in Slack.
We don't like to speed time *during the meeting* mediating these conflicts, just to ensure we find a volunteer mediator to
Brief Kudos[edit]
Recent exampdles of excellent participation, say 3, unless the passion moves you.n
- Kudos to Matty for being excellent at the space
- Kudos to Brian & whoever else has been taking out trash on Monday nights. For their ongoing care and stewardship for the space they've adopted
- to Josh -- for helping spacebridge go even longer on Sunday
- To JD for handeling getting the permits and dealing with bureaucracy of the city.
- To Elan for helping host the infra meetup, on Monday, since Loren was sick
- Someone excellently getting someone ving unexcellently to leave, recently, kudos.
Zoning & Permitting Standing Item[edit]
Status this week? Helpful broad asks to the community? NB city bureaucracy WG -- JD & Alice, among others.
Overdue city zoning & permitting changes & fixes. Due 2 days ago (we've gotten a 30 day extension. We have until 3rd week of September to wrap everything up.
They havent prouve the permit but it was filed
- Put the ventillation fans
- Mud and tape drywall up
- Run electricity to walls in woodshop & to ventillation fans
That will close our mechanical & electrical permits -- need to complete for closing building permit. That will also need a fire permit inspection first, a real serious inspection, we need to again put the space in good order.
Inspected with contractor Matt today.
Matt suggested to have the ventillation go up through the music room to the roof.
(recording as discussion item, it's ok(
Big C Consensus Items[edit]
Nobody likes 3 hour meetings, only explain if new people are present. https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Current_Consensus_Items
Consensus Items [edit]
Only for talking about Big C consensus items, small c consensus items should be discussed with people at the space at the time of the change/new item or can be reserved for the discussion section of the meeting.
Nothing is written in the coinsensus item list
Move on.
Discussion Items[edit]
It is recommended to post items for discussion ahead of time at https://pad.riseup.net/p/nbmeeting. (Check that the template for the meeting is in place already, and that last week's notes have been moved to the wiki, of course)

- Lick the walls. Or just draw on them
