NEW DUCK — Null Pointer: Quorum delivered! A black rubber duck, slightly larger than average, with an expression that can only be described as "has seen things."
Ripple: "This duck has witnessed production outages."
Quorum: "My friend got it at a tech conference. It's been through some stuff."
Null Pointer assigned to computer stations area. Specializes in software debugging. The name is perfect.
September planning:
- Silent Sitting continues (Sept 18th)
- Consider a "Philosophy Circle" — deeper discussion of duck theory
- Duck Census proposed for end of year
Duck Keeper formalization:
After discussion, agreed:
- Duck Keeper = maintains ducks, organizes meetings, cares for the pond
- Current Keepers: Ripple, Quorum (in training → now full Keeper!)
- Lumen remains Practice Lead
Quorum's promotion celebrated. Four ducks, four humans. Balanced.
