Habits, Interactions[edit]
Continues to stop by the space.
Continues to ask new individuals (who don't know him) for sympathy, access to space, or resources in the space.
At best, briefly verbally defers to requests before denying fault or culpability. Does not acknowledge or improve on User:Mcint/NBRequestsForRonald.
Path back to the space ?[edit]
Context[edit]
Ronald has been asked:
- not to come to the space in person. Neither inside, nor parking his bus outside, including nights or multiple days.
- not to attend meetings virtually by calling in. (While a few mediators have burned out, and withdrawn from talking to him) He still has mediator contacts. He communicates strategically differing stories among mediators.
Despite saying he agrees with this, and understands, he has returned repeatedly to meetings, virtually.
Requests[edit]
Multiple mediators, and the conflict resolution volunteer group, have suggested that he get involved in others spaces in the Bay Area. There he could spend some months practicing and demonstrating positive interactions, keeping to his word, and contributing to the community. At that point, when there are people from other spaces, willing to attest that over the course of months, he contributes well, communicates clearly, and keeps to his word, those people could speak for him at a Noisebridge meeting.
Attestation from drive-by email requests, clearly don't address this request.
Log (latest first)[edit]
- 12/31/23 - Collin on behalf of conflict resolution team, and Loren, in separate threads, relayed requests not to participate in the space, and received confirmation from Ronald.
- 8/8/23 - asking to come again. Told clearly by 4 members at the meeting not to come to the space. (Expressed intent or interest to "come to free code camp on friday".
- Came to meeting on 3/7, Meeting Notes 2023 03 07. Members who knew him, didn't think he'd changed. New members said he was not accepting responsibility, came across as arrogant.
- Mediation with Mark
- Banned for sleeping in the space consistently/repeatedly and for going back on his commitment not to. Many individuals have numerous other disagreements.
