CatchAllSensor

The CatchAllSensor project aims to build a small free software free/open hardware device for use in detecting movement when attached to a computer system.

The basic design is to make the cheapest sensor possible and will likely be built from the following parts:

• AVRStick
• Mercury Tilt Switch

Optionally, though nearly tripling the cost it, may be nice to add an Accelerometer and a case:

• Memsic 2125 Dual-axis Accelerometer
• A small 3d printed case

Another Accelerometer config (and cheaper than the one above), would be:

• Freescale I2C Accelerometer - lots of prebuilt drivers
• High speed USB/I2C UART
