MURK'S PROPOSAL:
Murk arrived with a 12-page document titled "Rubber Ducky Guild: Scaling Excellence."
Contents included:
- Proposed organizational chart
- Duck Interaction Metrics tracking sheet
- Suggested "certification levels" for human members
- Quarterly OKRs
- A Slack workspace (already created??)
Murk: "I took the liberty of setting up some infrastructure. You'll thank me later."
Reactions ranged from confused to alarmed.
Ripple: "Murk, we appreciate the enthusiasm, but this is... a lot."
Lumen: "The guild is intentionally structureless. That's part of the philosophy."
Murk: "But how do you know if it's working?"
Eddy: "We... feel it?"
Murk: "Feelings aren't data."
Stillwater: (quietly) "Sometimes feelings ARE the data."
Murk seemed frustrated. Said he was "just trying to help" and that we were "leaving potential on the table."
Agreed to "consider" the proposal. Murk left the document. Nobody picked it up.
Silent Sitting disruption: Last Wednesday, construction noise from 272 buildout made sitting difficult. Lumen handled it gracefully, but we may need to coordinate with the space.
