Streaming events through Jitsi, Discord, or both allows online participation as many people can't make it to every event in person. Noisebridge event organizers are strongly encouraged to point a laptop or Telebridge running Jitsi or Discord at any event at the space to uphold our accessibility commitment supporting remote participation. STREAMING CHANNELS: Jitsi (Meetings), Discord (Machine Learning & Gamebridge), Youtube Streaming/big Streaming for remote participation[edit]One of the ways to make our events accessible in an era of COVID travel difficulties and online MOOCs is by streaming proceedings via our Jitsi and/or Discord and interacting with chat as much as possible to allow online participation.
How to stream via Jitsi[edit]Jitsi is the easiest way to stream by default.
How to stream via Discord[edit]
Dealing with audio feedback[edit]Audio feedback can be an issue when trying to bridge 2-way conversations via streaming using loud speakers rather than headphones.

Zoom video integrations[edit]We stopped using Zoom once Jitsi and Discord proved more reliable.
Credentials will be available in the SocialmediaWG keepass database. Basic account currently limited to 40 minutes and 100 participants.
