What operations might be performed on this tool, and what are the appropriate steps to take to achieve those operations? e.g. When drilling a long hole through a piece with the drill press, material should be removed in short pecking actions, rather than boring straight through all at once.

Is there a specific order in which switched should be flipped/things unplugged in order to safely turn of this tool?
Safely Store[edit]
Re-iterate the importance of cleaning up various debris that may have been created by the tool, and portions of the tool that should be cleaned to avoid rusting or other deterioration. Double-check that the machine is in a state such that pugging it in will not cause it to suddenly jump into action and potentially hurt someone/something
