Code Guild maintains classes and resources to help people learn to code and connects devs for coding projects/working groups. |
Projects/Working Groups[edit]
- Projects CMS: Providing a one-click solution to set up projects with a wiki page, Trello, GitHub/GitLab and Discord Channel (which will give notifications for wiki edits/Trello/GH).
- Categorize projects under Projects category page.
- Subcategorize projects by status
- Each project page infobox list that subcategory status - we need a way for the template to take subcategory, does this exist?
- checklist of guilds form for page creation form / edit screen
- status field on project page edit screen
- want a template that lists pages in a category to list on the projects page / guilds page
Classes and Events[edit]
- Machine Learning: Learn to use Python and other languages for machine learning.
- PyClass: Python classes on Mondays.
- Gamebridge: Learn C#, C++, JS and other game dev languages for use with Unity, Unreal, Godot, and other engines.
- Variety Coding Workshop: On Mondays learn new technologies and collaborate on coding projects.
- Circuit Hacking Monday: Learn Arduino C and other embedded languages for use with electronics.
- Decentralized Web: Regular meet-up for presentations, hackathons and lightening talks on empowering more resilient innovation in the web space.
Guild Projects[edit]
- Decentralized Web: Hackathons and other ocaisional programs.
Past Code Classes[edit]
Past classes could be rebooted with new volunteer mentors.
