• you can use tailscaile with someone else's tailscale account, and can use ACLs so traffic only goes one way -- also tailscale ACLs
• tailscale -- fun marketing thing -- connect to others' networks, in complicated ways
• max -- next time, containers, cgroups(v2)? security? micro-kernels, or virtualization, firecracker. Suggested: bubblewrap, firejail
  • SE linux -- heavy heavy. Lighter: AppArmor.
• containerization -- security within, permissions limiting on systems level
• a terminal control code -- that sends a control code when the prompt renders. Start of prompt, end of prompt. Used ghostty and wezterm
• global internet outage is not actually global. My apps are hosted on AlibabaCloud, and my apps were perfectly fine.
