Discussion

Silent Sitting (Oct 16): Seven attendees. Growing steadily.

Holiday planning: Eddy raised the question — what happens to the guild over the holidays?

• Thanksgiving week: Probably no meeting
• December: People traveling, CCC, family stuff
• January: Duck Census planned

CCC Discussion: Quorum and Ripple are both going to Chaos Communication Congress in Hamburg (Dec 27-30).

Quorum: "Should we bring ducks?"

Ripple: "...to Germany?"

Quorum: "Duck diplomacy. International relations."

serious discussion followed. Ducks COULD travel. They're small. They don't need tickets. There are hackerspaces all over Europe that might appreciate a visiting duck.

Eddy: "This is either brilliant or unhinged."

Ripple: "Why not both?"

Tentative plan: Quentin Quarantino (once acquired) designated as "traveling duck." For now, maybe Admiral Quackbar goes to CCC?

Lumen and Flotsam absent — will check in about their holiday plans.

Notes
