Discussion

Eddy update:

Ripple visited Eddy in person this week. They talked for two hours.

Ripple's report: "Eddy isn't angry at us. Eddy is angry at himself for losing his temper. He feels like he failed the guild by not being 'duck-like' — by reacting instead of witnessing."

Lumen: "That's... a duck-like realization."

Eddy is considering coming back. Needs one more week. We're giving him space.

Post-Murk processing:

Stillwater: "I keep thinking about whether we did the right thing."

Quorum: "We didn't kick him out. He chose to leave when he realized he couldn't change us."

Flotsam: "But did we give him a real chance? Or did we decide early that he didn't fit?"

Hard question. No clear answer.

Lumen: "Some people don't fit. That's real. But we should examine whether we made room for him to fit differently than he expected."

Ripple: "I think we were patient. The proposals were genuinely misaligned. But I hear what you're saying."

Guild values discussion:

Maybe it's time to write down what we believe. Not for Murk — he's gone. But for the next Murk. And for ourselves.

Lumen agreed to draft something. Not a constitution. Not bylaws. Just... values. What the ducks stand for.
