CCC COLOGNE VISIT — HUGE SUCCESS
Klaus, Mira, Sven spent 3 days with us. Highlights:
- Joint Silent Sitting (11 humans, 8 ducks)
- Philosophy exchange — they're more Orthodox than us
- Duck swap: Gummiente stays 1 month, Admiral Quackbar goes to Cologne
Klaus: "You have built something beautiful here. We will learn from you."
Mira: "The pond is inspired. We only have a shelf."
International duck diplomacy: ACHIEVED.
THE ACCESSIBILITY COMPLAINT
During Tuesday general meeting, someone named "Rutherford" raised a concern.
Rutherford: "The inflatable pool on the patio creates an accessibility barrier. Someone using a wheelchair or mobility aid could not navigate around it safely."
Ripple attended, explained:
- Pool is in far corner, not blocking any path
- 4+ feet clearance to door and all walkways
- Offered to measure and document
Rutherford: "It's about the PRINCIPLE. Shared spaces shouldn't have permanent obstacles."
Ripple: "It's not permanent. We can move it."
Rutherford: "Then why don't you?"
Meeting got tense. No resolution. Rutherford wants it on next week's agenda.
Eddy: "Is this even a real accessibility concern or is he just rules-lawyering?"
Lumen: "Does it matter? If someone feels excluded, we should listen."
Ripple: "I'll measure everything. Get photos. Document clearances."
