Discussion

Halloween:

Tiny hats were a hit. Photos circulated. Someone from outside NB asked if we "sell duck hats." (We do not.)

Hats removed after weekend. Dignity restored.

Stillwater: "We should do this for holidays. Tastefully."

Eddy: "VERY tastefully."

Loren scheduling:

Loren (Infrastructure Guild, treasurer) confirmed visit for Nov 9. Wants to learn our documentation practices.

Ripple: "Cross-guild knowledge sharing. This is what NB should be."

Also: Nthmost (long-time NB member) mentioned to Elan they want to visit "before year end." Tentatively late November.

Blue duck month 1:

Trial update:

• 7 documented consultations
• Mixed feedback: "useful in a pinch" / "not the same"
• Nobody requesting more 3D ducks
• Nobody demanding removal either

Verdict: Continue trial. Reassess at 3 months (December).
